June 20, 2021 I was offered another opportunity to play at this gathering. It usually takes place in a remote woodland area in either NM or CO. This Solstice celebration was a great experience and I can’t wait to play at the next one. This festival is based on the ideals of gathering as a community to heal and be healed by prayer, dance and music. TVF celebrates many cultures and diverse kinds of music and arts. The festivals are outside and traditionally a sacred bonfire is present. People can enter by paying working, playing music offering workshops or by donations of food.
